      "Today, we have taken another look at a high powered PSU in the form of the Cooler Master V Series 1000W. The unit continues the great strides that Cooler Master is making in the power supply category. The V series, especially the 1000 watter we looked at is quite capable of pushing today’s biggest and fastest rigs. With a single 12v rail producing over 900W and 83 amps along, you can easy see why this is the direction many will turn when looking to purchase their next PSU. And something else you cannot take away for the V1000 is the often looked for 80PLUS Gold rating.

      We all know the power and performance is there but you can’t take away from the visual aspect of the unit. The visually is appealing and doesn’t draw much attention. The branding is there and is clearly visible but no way over the top. It’s done in such a way that would the V1000 stamped on the sides is classy. The modular cables are brand so way with the rest of the system. All wiring and cables are black. In all other power supplies you can see the different color wirings at the end mainly the 24-pin cable, not the case with the V1000. All those little wires are black. "

      "Cooler Master has actually put together a good well rounded power supply with the V1000. Assuming there are no issues with its performance of course. With a 90% efficiency rating it isn’t the highest on the market but it very close. There are still 80 PLUS Platinum certified that will rank slightly higher but they also cost more. With an MSRP of $219.99 the V1000 still falls in the top 1/3 of 1000 watt power supplies but it is priced below similarly equipped models from the competition. "
