For gaming, Trigger is now our go to keyboard. The Cherry Blue MX switches are accurate and don’t add any fatigue over long periods of use. The 6 key anti-ghosting rollover, 1000Hz driverless polling/1ms response time, 5 macro keys, and so on, give Trigger added valuable features. "
It may lack a bit in some areas of functionality but it makes up for that with overall quality and reasonable price. If you asked me whether it is worth buying I would say “yes.”"
Despite some shortcomings in the CM Storm Trigger software and macro performance, the Trigger is still generally an excellent mechanical gaming keyboard, matching and slightly beating my long-time favorite Razer Black Widow Ultimate in some areas and lagging in others.
All in all it's a viable alternative to the Razer BlackWidow, and if Coolermaster fixes the keystroke macro playback issue I would potentially recommend it over the BlackWidow. Until then it's still a pretty close race between the two and both are worth considering."
"Thanks to a good balance of design, utility, convenience, and performance, they’ve come up with a solid competitor in the CM Storm Trigger that is easy to recommend to gamers shopping at or around this price point."
"The CM Trigger is a great mechanical keyboard for FPS players. It features full illumination, a precise response (as befitting a mechanical keyboard), and spare USB ports."
I used the CM Storm Trigger alongside the CM Storm Sentinel Advance II mouse, a 1-2 combo I cannot recommend enough."
